This cannot be ignored

I personally have zero incentive to spend with USDC because of the points I typically get with my credit card 💳

Anyone attempting to replace the card networks with crypto rails in the US has to figure this out first. From a merchant standpoint crypto offers faster and cheaper settlement but cards abstract away this pain from consumers.

On one end of the consumer spectrum, users are optimizing for points and on the other end people are carrying balances on their cards or using BNPL. Straight consumer to merchant crypto payments offer nothing to these two types of users
