More half-baked thoughts about a location-based social media app (thread): - connect with others in your same general location - location needs to be small enough that connections are meaningful. I want to talk to people in my neighborhood, not my city 1/

(continued) - at the same time, location needs to be large enough that enough people are using it outside of highly concentrated locations like NYC - no one should be able to see anyone’s live, actual location (for safety) 2/

(continued) - the app *should* rely on actual GPS data—I want to talk to folks literally in my area, not just pretending to be - allow users to stay anonymous - don’t make the app about safety (Nextdoor, citizen), make it about fun and connections - allow DMs What do you think? 3/fin
