Road rage and extended consciousness//
Your consciousness is made of mind-mind, mind-body, and mind/body-world relations.
Words, formulas, heuristics—tools we use within and without to change and to understand. If you know a word you can experience it more wholly, it becomes immanent.
If born blind, you can no longer understand what a sighted person’s consciousness tries to communicate about sight. In a similar sense, if you were the only human given an implant allowing you to see UV, or comprehend 4D, you would not be able to communicate your conscious experiences to people without this implant. Everything we can use, informational or physical, is a tool that extends consciousness.
When driving a car, consciousness doesn’t end at the feet, but the wheels. You become a fast, massive, loud beast—no longer a bone skeleton with a gooey center, but a metal skeleton with a gooey center. And you act like such a beast.
That’s why you get mad in the car. YOU ARE THE CAR 0 reply
