hi friends! today I want to share a simple recipe for kulich without yeast. it turns out really tasty.
so, here’s what we need:
– 200g cottage cheese (9% fat)
– 200g butter or baking margarine
– 2 eggs
– 12 tablespoons of sugar
– 12 tablespoons of flour
– 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda
– 1 tablespoon of potato starch
– a little vanilla, and some raisins or candied fruits
how to make it:
preheat the oven to 180°C (350°F).
in a bowl, mix the cottage cheese, butter (or margarine), and eggs.
add sugar, flour, baking soda, potato starch, and vanilla. stir everything well.
if you’re using raisins or candied fruit, add them in and mix again.
grease a baking pan and pour the dough in.
bake for 40-50 minutes, or until a toothpick comes out clean.
let it cool completely.
for the glaze:
– 100g powdered sugar
– 1-2 tablespoons of lemon juice or water
– a few drops of vanilla
mix the powdered sugar with lemon juice or water to make a smooth glaze.
drizzle the glaze over the cooled kulich. 2 replies
