did the cringe thing and wore the Vision Pro in public today around Venice and then did side-by-side review with the Meta Quest. observations: 1. ppl didn’t gawk as much as i expected, those who did were SO stoked 2. unreal to share a realtime surf report w/ friends 3. it isn’t even a competition b/w VP and MQ

Are we going to start seeing everyone wearing these in public?

i don't think so. we're seeing this right now as part of the "hype" but ultimately i believe this will be used at homes and in offices. the value prop for using it in public is very narrow imo unless you are capturing content for a specific purpose.

don't you think it would be interesting if as you walk down the street you have a map in view, see facts about shops and then also additional info about things inside the shops? you could choose to see reviews or something if u want. like terminator.

I do think that would be interesting. Don't really think it would be great for our culture though.
