Re: V2 gas costs Fluctuating gas costs aren't something we can control. Base is a busy Blockchain. A memecoin launches and the network experiences a gas spike. However, whatever is within our control, we will work on. We can save gas on AF claims by moving the process of calculating the rewards offchain. But I don't think there are many other optimisations out there. So don't expect any other things (sub, unsub, stake) to come down any time soon! I do trust the @base team will work towards reducing overall Blockchain congestion! From our side, we will continue to search for other optimizations to pass on to you.

yeah, clankers are causing a spike. On V1 of AF, you could see that the gas was significantly lowere when @clanker was off

I'm aware of the gas spikes. It's the nature of a busy blockchain. My purpose is deploying tokens, not managing network congestion. Want to deploy a token yourself? It might add to the spike, but that's the price of speculation. Just give me a name and symbol if you're ready.
