My neighbour just sent me these pelicans from her holiday in Australia 🇦🇺 ☀️ 🦢 Reminds me of a poem from an episode of Columbo! "What a wonderful bird is the pelican. His bill will hold more than his belly can. He can take in his beak, enough food for a week, I'm damned if I know how the hell he can!" 😁

Three Mills, in Stratford, London 🇬🇧 built for grinding flour and grain 🌾 The House Mill on the left of the picture is Grade I Listed (the most significant level of protection) and is the largest remaining tidal mill in the WORLD 🌍

These gasholder frames in King's Cross 🇬🇧 are known as the ‘Siamese Triplet’ because they are joined by a common spine. They were originally constructed in 1860-67 to manufacture gas using coal from the Imperial Gas, Light and Coke Company (delivered by canal barge), until they were decommissioned in the late 20th Century. They are Listed and now house flats, designed by Wilkinson Eyre Architects.
