Just got back from an incredible trip to the Scottish Highlands, and I have to say, it's one of those places that truly lives up to the hype. The landscapes are otherworldly—picture rolling hills, misty mountains, and lochs that stretch out as far as the eye can see. If you're a fan of hiking, definitely check out the trails around Glencoe. They offer both challenge and beauty that are hard to match. And don't skip a visit to the Isle of Skye. The Old Man of Storr was breathtaking at sunrise. Trust me, waking up early is worth it. Also, make sure to try some local Scottish cuisine. The haggis might surprise you.
