Wow there’s so many developers recognizing this needs to happen! Everyone has subscriptions and the frustration that comes with them. I think there’s plenty of room for competition, it looks like you’ve got some good ideas too. I like the idea of splitting amongst multiple creators

Micro transactions vs subscriptions for articles is probably the biggest use case the community brings up. 25 cents for an article could really add up for anyone with a decent following

It’s something I’ve been concerned about. Right now they’re leveraging the existing Kin community to spread the word and engage but once the Code app is polished they need a marketing push towards developers and hopefully find a big partner

Kado is the onramp partner and the $25 minimum is definitely a sticking point. I’m pretty sure there’s been conversation about trying to get the minimum to $5-$10. I try to keep up with Code on this Kin Telegram channel https://t.me/KinCryptoTelegram

I read the Code team is busy working on a VM to reduce wallet creation costs to next to zero, then afterwards I think they plan on removing the phone number requirement in anticipation of mass onboarding

Hi Fred, great write up! The KIN community is working to spread the word to developers and to increase adoption of Code and micro transactions. We are also trying to fill out a Coinbase listing application but it looks like only the issuing company can fill out the application. As a board member do you know of a different process Coinbase requires for decentralized communities?
