People who claim "Ethereum is bleeding value to L2s" are short-term sighted. This is the ultimate marketing message, and the reason why major players like Sony, Deutsche Bank are building on Ethereum as an L2. The world is too big to be a single blockchain. Companies and applications require tailored parameters: some need low latency, others high throughput; some prioritize fast block times, while others strong compliance screening. In the future, most traffic will flow through Appchains and L2s, all while remaining secure and seamlessly interoperable. This is the long-term value prop of Ethereum's rollup-centric roadmap. Who cares about losing a few bucks today when you can attract tens of thousands of Appchains and L2s tomorrow?
