The back room of the bar is connected to the vault of a bank. He's part of the robbery team, and his role is to stand there, keep an eye out, as he about to make his way out from behind the bar to lock the door to keep customers from coming in, she walks in. Out of all the members of the gang, he's the one who is nice and doesn't want to hurt anyone. 
He tells her that if she wants to live, she should leave the bar right away and never return or call the police. She says thank you and leaves the bar.
