Supermarkets don't hand out big plastic bags for free anymore, but they do have these small bags that customers use to wrap lunch boxes, etc.

The pink towels are somehow always wet, so you can dampen your fingertips for a better grip on the plastic.

Those bags are the ones they use for vegetables in my country, they don't give bags here either so I take mine to the supermarket.
