Are good graphics, a strong narrative, immersive sounds, fun and intuitive gameplay crucial to every games success? Can you have a good game without one of these? Interested in hearing your thoughts !

Yes, EVE Online for example. Okay, graphics are good if you zoom in a lot. No narrative, gameplay is not intuitive at all. But there's a lot of those games imo - none of these are needed for a good game, but the game has to be strong in all its other aspects even more.
