It's very interesting to me how the competitiveness is transitioning more and more towards skill + hitech equipment.

Good equipment was always a thing in pro-scenes, but it's getting better and better.

Not sure what to think of it yet, to be honest.

On the one side I like it, because skill + good tech/equip seems like a natural evolution, but on the other hand I feel super sorry for those who just cannot spend the money on gear like this :/

To me it's a bit like athletes and drugs.

On the one hand people should do whatever they want, including drugs.

Perhaps a second tournament where this stuff is allowed would help?

They certainly can afford it, so why not give the option?

Natural evolution of tech + skill, imo.

I'd have more of a problem with people using this in non-pro (read: tournament) play.

So for example a pro-player using this outside a match that is only filled with other pros (e.g. a tournament or if they got matched into a game with only other pros) would be fine, but if there would be a non-pro player in the match it'd be meh.

Of course this is just theoretical, I wouldn't expect anyone to switch their keyboards on the fly depending on who they get matched with lmao

not sure. I mean 99% of players are not pro, so they can and will use this at home - which is fine I guess.
