waifu frame was a great example. I showed it to my (non-crypto) gf and she loved it, right up until the minting part. "you mint because now it's yours forever and it's in your wallet and oh yeah you have to pay $20" -> who cares dude "pay $20 and get 3 extra funny captions for your waifu" -> makes sense!
