but I also think that humans will go the path of hybridization. It’s the way to go. Human organic lifeforms are just extremely limited and won’t be able to keep up through natural evolution at all. Will also be the way to actually (really) travel through space.

absolutely. i think it’s about the act of bullying and harassment that triggers it.
tbh I think it will. there is basically no scenario I can think of where humans will be able to control AI after it’s able to self learn and evolve and that in itself is inevitable. may take 100+ years but sentient AI will happen.
