Holy smokes. Just realized how massive my tip allowance is in dollar terms. Woah. But how can this be sustainable? The market doesnโt just let people print money forever without downward price pressure, does it? (2,000 allowance = ~$70 today)

Yup, I think that's the inherit nature of $DEGEN. My thinking is: It's sustainable as long as they can give out tokens (and thus lowering value) or the price of $DEGEN keeps rising (lowers the amount people tip since its worth more).
