Syrian Prime Minister Mohammed Ghazi al-Jalali said that he and some cabinet ministers remained in Damascus and contact was established with militants, Al-Arabiya TV channel reports.

The official said that he did not know where President Assad was, that he had last contacted him on Saturday evening, and that now “a new stage is beginning in the history of Syria
