Low effort giveaways with excessive engagement demands (like ME follow ME recast ME ME MEEEEE) were always spam, so hidden from root.

This is unrelated to the tipping game.

I'm pretty open about my feelings on raffles and giveaways tho: they're directionally wrong.

But I won't censor them unless they're also spam.

At the core we gotta remember that we are effectively distributing a token to a community

We have a responsibility to get it into the hands of the people who are here to make this community better

If we just give our $degen to raffles, f4f, etc., then we shouldn’t be surprised if that’s all we see ever

I think one of the issues is that the platform is rewarding those types of posts right now. There is an incentive to do giveaways which creates a positive feedback loop
