I think that $DEGEN giveaways should be regarded as point farming and the engagement from those posts should not be calculated towards rank

It’s just really low effort content that doesn’t add any value to the ecosystem

You’re very right about that… I guess it shouldn’t be anyone’s job to police somewhat harmless content

tbh it's pretty similar situation to the racist memecoins recently imo

in a permissionless system, it's up to those w/ 'power' and 'influence' to steer the culture ship

this means those who wield the largest allocations have the ability to tip high quality content and shape farcaster into what they think it should be

They just clog my feed and don’t add any value to my day
