I think Kanye is the artiste Drake wants to be. Kanye can rap, sing, produce, defy his genre, switch to another genre altogether, do new stuff, and do it all at a certain level that is, if not out and out excellent, above average.

It is true, Drake only tried doing the musics after 808s and heartbreak gave him the whole equation he would employ for his entire fake music career

I just don’t like peeps who ripoff their entire careers from a real artist 🤷

That would be harsh if it were even remotely true but it's just flat out false. Drake has taken the boundaries to places where Kanye hasn't too like it or not.

What does being a womaniser have to do with the music?

He only has the larger opportunity space to be such a womanizer due largely to the music career

I hear your arguments about womanising, but I don't think they have anything to do with whether or not Drake has been an outstanding musician?

I mean ghostwriters are def part of his whole schtick, just throwing that one out there, but in the end he just simply does not have the taste/curatorial understandings as Ye, and he can’t learn it either What Ye has, Ye was born with

I hear the ghostwriter arguments (I don't really lean one way or the other), and Drake's current run is questionable but that guy set the standards in this genre for at least a decade. That's no fluke.

Set the standard in the genre window defined by and promptly abandoned by Ye, is my understanding of the career

That's a strange understanding man. And it's one you can level at just about any rapper. I can look at Cole and say oh he ripped off Nas and so on and so forth.

fair but I wouldn’t have so much an issue with his ripping off ye if he didn’t in the end act in the arrogance as if he’s overstepped Ye in his career when he hasn’t even come close to anything Ye has accomplished He was merely a gimpy wheelchair Canadian on a cheesy bad tv show before he saw what Ye was doing
