i'm disappointed but i don't understand the outrage towards arteta.

the club refused to back him in the summer + we have dealt with multiple major injuries at every point this season. 

even odegaard, people complain about him but forget that he's still nursing an ankle injury and he's been playing with it for months. 

if you take a step back and rationally assess things, this is a massive overachievement with the squad available to him. 

but of course this is football, rationality is for suckers.

I think Ø has been below par. But Arteta has done the best anyone can do with this team

of course he's been below par. but also he's been playing with an unresolved injury. much like ben white last season playing through pain. 

interestingly, ben white has barely played this season as he's recovered. i wonder if the same thing happens with odegaard next season and he barely plays.

indeed, i've always thought the striker thing is just the most obvious issue. can think of at least 3 more off the top of my head. but we'll see.

We'll have to wait and see. But our problem is way more than "a proper striker". However, that is the first step we need to take
