I am pausing my activity on Warpcast for the foreseeable future due to the current issue with large number of bots.

Recent posts over the past few months have received hundreds of likes and recasts coming mostly from bots.

of course i respect zach's decision to leave but is the bot problem really worse here than on twitter? 

i find that hard to believe tbh.

however, his concerns are legitimate too

they're definitely legitimate. i just don't know about the twitter part. we'll see though. spam is such a hard problem to solve.

Advancements in the field of AI means that every social app is now plagued with bots. One of the problems I constantly think about is how to eliminate bots on social app. Every hack by apps have not been futile. I don't use Facebook much, I wonder if it's the same over there.
