I made my first prediction on Polymarket today and the entire narrative of it hiding crypto and being A++ UX is just not at all true. It took me about 40m to get USDC on Polygon and then POL so I could send it. I eventually just gave up and a friend sent me $20 in POL.

@ashmoney.eth and i have spoken about this before re: football bets. switching costs from an l2 to polygon just to make some one-off bet are too high.

I got DIMO on polygon and took me about 30 minutes with several failed transactions to even bridge from polygon to Base 🫠  

Haven't been that impressed with it.
