i'm always of the opinion that what the manager decides to do with him on the pitch is not his fault. but yeah, i think your point is decent, all of that money could have gone towards a better cf.

i'd say at 35 million becomes a good signing

that's what i was thinking about when i made that poll. he's not an aesthetically pleasing cf, he misses big chances. but when you look at the big picture, he does rack up the numbers.

He’s too easy to hate, but at the end of the day he puts up the numbers! (I’m not and arsenal supporter though)
