i'm disappointed but i don't understand the outrage towards arteta. the club refused to back him in the summer + we have dealt with multiple major injuries at every point this season. even odegaard, people complain about him but forget that he's still nursing an ankle injury and he's been playing with it for months. if you take a step back and rationally assess things, this is a massive overachievement with the squad available to him. but of course this is football, rationality is for suckers.

Arsenal have over achieved this season with the team/injuries, especially the issues with not having a striker. Unfortunately arsenal fans are overly emotional in my experience, and liable to over reaction.

it's so confusing to me because at first i thought we were all joking around, but then i realised that some people are actually quite serious. they consider a champions league semifinal run without a striker to be a failure? how even? smh man.

I always felt it was the microcosm of living in London, I’ve had to separate best friends from fighting over what started as football banter. Arsenal like to be ‘THE’ rival of any title winner… started with Man Utd, and essentially it’s opens them up for ridicule if they fail.
