Whoscored doesn’t have him having played in the middle. But if he has then Arteta knows how he is there.

i'm sorry but i'm going to go against whoscored here. martinelli has played through the middle for arsenal, or at least closer to the center than the left.

ah right, as i typed this i remembered. gabriel jesus's first season at arsenal. very often he'd drift out to the left and martinelli would take up central positions. so that wouldn't reflect on whoscored.

yeah, fair enough. at any rate the merino thing seems to be working inexplicably. so yeah, let's stick to that.
