watching the villa vs tottenham game and honestly i don't know how you can take blame away from ange for their current form. 

the moment i saw the lineups i thought "this bergvall-bentancur midfield is going to be so open and morgan rogers and co will have a field day."

within 3 minutes, morgan rogers receives the ball in space in the middle of the pitch, turns and glides away from his markers like they don't exist, and plays a pass to ramsey in acres of space. ramsey scores. 

that's not an injury crisis problem, that's a tactical problem.

i agree with you and i love bentancur, but the injuries are taking their toll. 

i thought he would be a great squad player in this ange system when he's fully fit but for some reason ange has gone and said, okay you'll be out defensive midfielder. how does that even make sense?

Bentancur doesn’t have the legs for premier football anymore, if he ever did.
They need to buy an establish premier league CM who loves to defend.
