I got some thots…🤔 I’m in agreement with Ben’s personal relationship and anyone’s with* Catholicism. But I have hyuge disagreements with them systemically and think another Martin Luther 95 theses type declaration and revolution is required to resurrect and regenerate the original message and The Way of the the Notzrim, not ~Roman~ Imperial Catholicism that was just a deviation from the Liberatory Theology of a brown, oppressed middle eastern peoples, that then became a Patriarchal Imperium religion after expropriation. It literally became the very thing it sought to liberate them from…🤦 I know this by the fruits of their labor btw. “Turning away” is not how I’d put it. Sticking with the Martin Luther example, I’ve always lived truly by loving God and my neighbor as myself. I approached the Bible, Yeshua and the early original Christians through that lens and intention but came to the discovery after years at Biola University studying it in the original Greek, Hebrew and Aramaic that the Church had just been expropriated by the more well endowed power... Not that it had affected that power like we were told unfortunately… Graeco/Roman western philosophy is a lot to deprogram a person from in order to even BEGIN to approach the texts of ancient Judeans. So turned away is not how I’d put it, had a deeper revelation, now with a new desire to resurrect and hyperregenerate the original religion.
