It‘s not that simple… But I will agree on that it gets overdiagnosed, and on these cases your points apply.

I just hope that it will be open in a way that I could use it with other OS. Walled garden in standalone is allright, but open when connected to other PC. Not that it would hurt them, more a personal wish^^‘

* pun intended since meta/facebook had to pivot back to gaming.

It will probably be more directed at devs and enthusiasts (especially regarding pricing). I think the mass market version will be the second or third gen when more apps have been developed, the usecases have been defined, and the production cost can be lowered.

It will be a hit with enthusiasts. A new kind of since gaming isn‘t a thing on Apple. And the most active users are still gamers. But it could be an Apple moment where they change the meta.

„Garante said it recognises the steps taken to combine technological progress with respect to people's rights and hopes that the company will continue along this path of compliance with European data protection regulations.“ In the end, Italy did a good thing. Lets see how oAI will go on with data privacy.

Hahahah, don‘t know enough about US culture to explain that^^ Maybe Europeans are less strict with off-topic activities during work in the afternoons and Americans the opposite?

The biggest issue imo, is that data of foreign citizens are used for profit, but not taxed in their respective countries due to it not being treated as a taxable (export) good/service. Could use this funds for public education on data and privacy and/or to cover cost inflicted by it‘s use (e.g. mental health costs)

Data is a wierd subject for europeans. Since most issues comes from non eu based companies and for most it’s still an abstract concept. So regulation is difficult to enforce and we often get: a) no enforcement, or just pseudo b) over enforcement, or just banning

try to time the next article with commute (7-9) or lunch (12-13), would be interesting to compare.

yea, maybe during the week and office hours not a lot of EU-FC will read a whole article. and therefore not yet interact with the cast conatining it eg. during the break I saw it, saved the link (to your cast) and put it on my „to read“ list for later or during lunch. and engage with the cast after i read it.
