I’m definitely seeing how the use of AI for automation succeeds and fails. And most of the strategies are failing ones because they seem to fundamentally misunderstand the processes they attempt to “disrupt”. Maybe disrupting technologies is no longer an ideology that makes sense for great products. Maybe over optimization is in the way of progress

I took some additional measures to try and get my 2k (now worth about 1500) dollars of ETH from Co/inbase that was sent on Zora network by accident, a network they don’t support but to the same wallet address on my account. I got a document from their legal team basically saying unless they suddenly support Zora network (even though they are heavily involved with one another) then maybe I would get my funds back, otherwise, I’m SOL. This was their response to the NY DFS. Even though they have claw backs on other networks, it just seems unfortunate to have nothing in place to help support issues like these. Really disappointed and probably will be needing to just move services in the near future. For the future of money, seems kind of strange to just leave people hanging when mistakes are made. At least if we are talking about providing services. But there is more risk to shoulder with decentralizing money. Hope you can use some of that money to keep sponsering military parades and such

Ads don’t have to be invasive, and I think incentives can be negative also (Kaito). So many things have gotten popular without direct incentives so why does web3 think that this is the most key? I’ve considered the same before but genuinely wondering why this is the case

They do, just not as in your face. Trust me haha. But I agree the screen emboldens many. And doesn't not encourage discussion. But i'm here for all of it. Bring it to the commons. I can speak, interact, and befriend people with opposing views (within limits). However, keeping some level of humanity is a requirement for that to happen.

ok, i am going to say it. Outside of opensource, AI tooling is too expensive as a whole. I barely see anyone using just one model, or one tool, they have to use multiple, and we still need a suite of other tools to realize our creations. I am not saying there is anything wrong with having a toolbox. But we adding up the costs, for any person, its expensive unless your company pays for it. I would also argue its expensive for companies also until they have their own models to use internally (probably the future).

I’m absolutely for civil discourse. But typically that is not what I’ve encountered. It’s generally people who are arrogant enough to imagine they have the “right” world view and then belittle others about it. Especially, in this case, when the majority of folks have cast their voice to the commons to say that they disagree with those views and are doing it in a fair way. I also speak up because I’m pretty disheartened by the fact that a space that I’ve always considered progressive, punk, future minded, has kind of deviated a lot from that. So it’s a loaded thing. Mamdani/NYC discourse has just become entangled in that
