It got me thinking—especially since I noticed the modest and demure trend within the first 2 hours of it gaining traction. It’s fascinating to watch how fast this audio spread and how marketing quickly latched onto it, from Grubhub notifications to beauty brand texts. At this rate, I wouldn’t be surprised if the next crypto newsletter in my inbox says something like “Holding Stablecoins: Very Demure, Very Mindful.”

It’s a reminder of how trends morph from authentic expressions into marketing tools at lightning speed. The sheer rapidity with which these concepts are co-opted speaks to both the power and the limitations of trend-driven culture. It’s almost as if originality itself is becoming commodified, repackaged for mass consumption the moment it surfaces.
