Noticing that crypto hostile people are thrown off balance when you neither evangelize or defend crypto but simply move on with “fine let’s talk about something else.”

I don’t have high hopes that this posture will spread but I think it’s genuinely the best one now. When you make it your whole identity as some seem to, people naturally want to accept or reject you as a whole person based on it.

little did i know, linda and @kahicks , the COO/CFO/Treasurer of OMF, are extremely crypto aware bc one of the early large donors was from the crypto community!! and there continues to be support.

I am especially excited to work with OMF because they have their science *down* and a grand vision to change the status quo of research. 

that's where there can be synthesis with the crypto ethos--let's do things differently and change the system.
