I want to go by Chris (it’s actually what my high school friends called me) but I have a lot of friends who are also called Chris Any thoughts on how to do this without confusing the heck out of everyone?

Do you mean confusing because of the name change or confusing because of the quantity of Chris?

Yeah like how would others know who they are referring to? I guess one would default to Chris <last name> or <last name initial> but seems clunky.. Maybe I can be ___ Chris (the only thing that comes to mind are physical descriptors and maybe that’s even worse lol)

The physical descriptor has always been how I get called out in a group of Chris. I was always big Chris, until I met a much taller Chris once. I’ve seen more people go with the last initial than last name and it depends on situation where you’d use it. At the end of the day, we are all Chris.
