one thing that has evolved in my understanding of this concept...is that in the past, when I heard that oh no, 8 worldly winds is bad, then I blamed myself (!) for not following them well but then that becomes a co-opted move and ironically i'm pulled by the praise-blame spectrum again that's what i would like to share with those new to buddhist teachings or would like help with a re-interpretation... there's something that happens in the mind that will take a teaching and turn it into its anti-teaching somehow still!
