Lately, I've heard ppl saying that a lot of high-quality users are joining Farcaster. So I decided to check the data, and here's what I found:

- Since Aug 01, FC has gained 20k new users
- 9k casted at least once
- 5k casted 1-10 times 
- 550 casted 100+ times
- 160 casted more than 370 times
 
The data (which I got via @neynar) shows that over 50% of the new users have never made a cast. For context, the average OG user, such as @phil, makes about 369 casts per month (root + replies).

I personally am seriously pleasantly surprised by the data

I even built a quick app that runs locally on my PC. Each time you click refresh, it shows a new user who joined since August 1. The goal was to see how many high-quality users I could find in 30 minutes, but I found none

My bar for quality is really really low. You go to a users profile and take a look at their casts (root + replies). I dunno what you think im up to, but my data is also public and you can go see that ive been a good actor on here and only want the best for Farcaster. If you have a better suggestion for how to define quality users, please share with us

The data is public, so you can analyze it, make observations, and offer rebuttals. But it sounds like you just don't like me cuz I made observations and did not feel afraid to speak my mind? We both know that's not gona bother me or stop me lol

What is my bias? I was literally boosting you for months when you were the top caster on the network via Outcasters. I hope you didn't forget about all that. I want nothing more than to see Farcaster blow the f up and become bigger than Twitter and Reddit. It's wild that this isn't clear to users like you

I mean it's deep enough for you to not reply to my casts directly, but to go ahead and quote me or reply about me on others ppls casts. Fuck it tho, I got love for you Purp! Let's just agree to disagree and I welcome your rebuttals whenever I share data/observations
