Rookie question: why would I use mint.club rather than DEX.swapdegen.tips to get $DEPE Am confused what these two do and its pros and cons.

DEPE uses a bonding curve, like friendtech, so you do not need a liquidity pool, as the protocol just increases the price in steps depending on how much DEPE is minted, aka DEGEN is locked in the contract.

Nothing prevents setting up a permissionless pool, but someone would have to provide liquidity first.

Benefit is that you do not need to bootstrap liquidity if you use a bonding curve. It's good to get something fair off the ground quick I would say.

I have swapped through Uniswap with the LP token being burned and hence the pool locked. Issuance remains constant. 

Is there a benefit of minting new DEPE using bonding curves vs burning the LP token after setting up the permissionless pool on Uniswap? 🙏
