If you've got a new kiddo, look into 'febrile seizures.'  I had no idea what they were until my little guy had one a couple months ago and it was probably the scariest day of my life.

He's been home with maybe his third or fourth daycare fever for the past few days and had another febrile seizure on Friday. 

They are still scary, but knowing that he's gonna be fine has made a big difference.

And tell your parent friends just so they don't have a heart attack if their kiddos have one ❤️

I was changing him when his fever spiked and he went completely limp and glassy eyed. I thought he was dead.

A terrified 911 call followed by an oxygen dropping ambulance ride and one ER visit later, he was fine (probably shaved 10 years off my life), but I just kept wishing someone had told me about these.
