I just watched a colleague try to do an onchain transaction with their rainbow wallet. they were on desktop and their wallet is on their phone, so they tried wallet connect. when asked to sign a message, the message never appeared on their phone. they tried again from safari mobile: same problem. i showed them there's an in-app browser in rainbow and they should use that. it worked. but if i wasn't there to help, there's 0% chance they would have converted.

any idea why WC was failing to load?

sometimes it will still show in the tx history in Rainbow if the message gets thru

other times it is an old connection that needs to be closed and reset.
sometimes VPNs and other DNS filter/pihole setups will block the messages!
