News of Korean gaming: The Rise of Blockchain Games: Innovation or Hurdle? The Korean gaming industry is seeing a surge in blockchain and NFT-based games, touted as innovations. However, critics argue that blockchain alone doesn’t guarantee success. Former XL Games CEO Song Jae-kyeong joins blockchain foundation OGF to develop blockchain games. NFTs allow players true ownership of in-game items, enabling free trade and economic gains via Play-to-Earn (P2E) models. Companies like Wemade are introducing governance systems and limiting item supply for transparency. However, concerns arise over potential loss of game enjoyment, exploitative "farming" practices, and regulatory issues. Experts stress that blockchain games must prioritize fun and integrity, as legal and trust concerns remain. Sustainable success depends on fair, transparent management rather than just technology.

Yes it's true that blockchain games are not fun and mainly led by the Game-to-earn concept, which means that the main motivation to play the game comes from farming, not the fun part. 7777 $hunt
