🗒️ Flows Update Last week, I helped organize La Pinchanga Dotera, an exciting event led by Jericho Dota, a former Dota2 pro player and streamer. We pulled it off last Thursday with just a few days of prep, leveraging my Tournament Organizer assets from esports to make it happen. The event streamed on Kick, averaging 3,000 viewers over four hours, an impressive turnout for such short notice! To support this unique Dota 2 x Soccer crossover initiative, I contributed $150 USDC from my flow funds to the prize pool, helping bring the offline event to life. It was a blast seeing the Dota 2 community come together in person. Building on this, we’re gearing up for the next event: Pinchanga Femenina, hosted and organized by Dota 2 player Erika Kelsey this upcoming Thursday. I’m allocating another $150 USDC for trophies and medals. I’ve pitched in on logistics to get it featured on the nouns.gg/events page, which should go live tomorrow. Why back these events? Gamers often spend long hours sitting, which can limit their physical activity. To promote a healthier lifestyle, we're excited to combine gaming with sports like soccer. These events strengthen community bonds and showcase our brand's dedication to making a positive impact, while also encouraging former participants to engage on our nouns.gg ecosystem. Personally, I'm inspired; they’ve reignited my love for soccer! Tomorrow, I’m returning to play in my school’s intramural league after nearly five years away.
