Maybe I didn't get the question.
I normally pre boil my pasta before the proper cooking and that's the stage I add salt.

That's how my younger sis prepares hers 😃
Sometimes, I wonder who made those rules.....to prepare a meal a certain way.

I see! some people season the pasta itself by putting salt in the water haha!
