Insightful talk by @dwr.eth on how Farcaster's journey has been till date. My learnings : ๐Ÿ’ก Establish fast feedback loops in the product/platform development cycles. ๐Ÿ’ก This is a tricky one.People tend to polish feedbacks when they say it.Judge from their actions. ๐Ÿ’ก Telegram>>Discord for community building(alpha)

Data DAOs can be revolutionary because they offer a more democratic and decentralised way of managing data. They can unlock opportunities for innovation, collaboration & value creation while addressing societal challenges like trust, privacy, security & fairness.

Data DAOs are a perfect fit for digital natives, but they're still growing. A lot of research is going on and there are regulatory challenges as well.

Data DAOs harness better governance & automation to create high-quality data pools for AI solutions that benefit society. They can negotiate prices for data sets & reward their communities fairly & transparently.

They use a decentralised blockchain-based system, where governance rules are inscribed in software codes that are transparent, verifiable, and enforceable.

Data DAOs could solve these problems by operating as decentralised entities that allow individuals and organisations to collectively own, control, and manage data assets with high transparency and lighting speed of governance and execution.

Protocols like oceanprotocol and itheum allow users to sell data, but selling small data sets isn't very valuable. Pooling data increases its worth, but trusting and coordinating with others can be tough.

The biggest problem with data today is that ownership and control are often centralised in the hands of a few large corporations. This creates issues of privacy, security, and fairness, and limits innovation and competition.

Those who hold data rule the world, but is it possible to democratise data? Can we restore the power, empowering masses? I deep dived into the concept of Data DAOs. They're changing how we collaborate, make decisions and own things. But can they revolutionise data economy?

The way they have communicated this is certainly very inappropriate. Web3 runs on trust. If trust is gone, you lose everything. Waiting for Ledger to clarify if this really makes the system more vulnerable to hacking even if you opt-out of the recover feature.

Agree with the comments here, you have to first involve in the NFT communities. zenacademy is a great community for nft people. they support newcomers too so you can check that out.

In DAO governance, rules mentioned in the smart contracts will be upheld for sure. I think real inclusiveness comes when you include all people into impartial decision making which can happen on DAO.
