If you don’t have 10-year vision, patience and strength, timing is actually a must. I don’t mean short-term timing, but timing at the quarterly/annual level is very necessary. Don’t be misled into thinking that masters don’t choose timing. Ba and Duan actually also choose timing, but they don’t call it that. They call it underestimation and margin of safety, which is essentially timing. Those who do not choose the right time are called fools and takeovers.
