My favorite immigrants are the ones that are prejudice to other immigrants and fight against immigration policies similar to the ones that enabled their own immigration I also find amusing the people who don’t realise that white people…can also be immigrants… (but that’s a lesson for another day)

Well… white people are expats 😂 (With the exception of some immigrants from low-income east European countries) Language is a powerful tool to maintain the status quo and positions of power. IMO those immigrants that fight immigration live the illusion of belonging to a higher class and want the privileges they have now to feel exclusive. “If you think you love freedom but you don't care if it applies to everyone, what you actually love is privilege."
