One strange lesson I've learned as a founder is importance of distinguishing "good pain" from "dumb pain" â aka when to lean into hard things vs when to try something else. Tier 0: run from all pain Tier 1: ignore pain Tier 2: embrace good pain, avoid dumb pain

Well said. The standard "no pain, no gain" applies to the startups, too. But, that does not mean the founders keep hurting themselves. They have to "pick their battles" !!
