this might be the most important chart in crypto right now. developer activity is down. it is one of the clearest signals of long-term health that has meaningfully declined from its peak. attention has shifted. speculation takes over utility. we all feel it. capital still chases short-term dopamine loops… because here’s the hard truth: if nothing meaningful happens onchain, distribution loses its power. what we need next isn’t just more developers, but we need more support for developers. more teams thinking end-to-end product, not just code more usable primitives, not just new mechanisms more people helping projects reach actual users i’m bullish on the rise of opinionated ecosystems (like @warpcast and @base) : builders, incubators, communities who actually help apps go from 0 to 1. they know adoption isn’t inevitable, but it has to be earned. the hard way. the gritty way. the door-to-door way. those who help bring that to life? they’ll shape everything that comes next.

Ecosystem teams need to walk hand-in-hand with builders, providing support, intro’s, and mentorship where needed People need to be encouraged to dev as viable lucrative career options or they will resort to speculating to try to capture the “upside” on crypto

absolutely. more incentives for builders, more folks will build. incentives = user feedback, revenue, fees, etc ... incentives =/= grants, airdrops, farming, etc ...
