Mentorship is underrated, can come from multiple sources, and in most cases, should be mandated. 

Everyone has wisdom to pass on, and we can all progress further if more
people take time to help others on their respective paths.

Totally agree. Mentorship is what has really helped me through my career and life in general. I now mentor a few individuals, and I can confidently say everyone has knowledge and wisdom to pass on, I have been enjoying reverse mentoring.
