There is a new easy way to earn mats on MEZO.  You can earn mats simply by creating and maintaining an mUSD loan.

The core process remains unchanged:

1. Deposit BTC Collateral: Lock BTC on Mezo and earn mats.
2. Burn mats for sats: Convert earned mats into testnet sats.

Now, here’s the upgrade:

Earn mats Automatically: For every mUSD borrowed, you accrue mats rewards.
Existing Loans Qualify: If you’ve already borrowed mUSD, your rewards start accumulating on February 11th.
Perpetual Growth: Cover your earned mats into sats and repeat the cycle.

Example:

Borrow 10,000 mUSD → Earn 10,000 mats.
Burn 10,000 mats → Get 100,000 sats (testnet).
Deposit 100,000 sats → Borrow ~90,000 mUSD (at 110% collateral ratio).
Now you’re earning mats on 100,000 mUSD (original + new borrow).

3. Borrow mUSD: Mint mUSD against your collateral sats.
4. Monitor Your Ratio: Stay above 150% collateralization to avoid liquidation.
5. Minimum Borrow Requirement: You must borrow at least 2,000 mUSD to open a new loan.
