Japanese cryptocurrency exchange Bitbank has established Bitbank Ventures, a wholly-owned subsidiary dedicated to overseas blockchain investments, focusing on seed to Series A projects and supporting international companies entering the Japanese market. Business Development Head Jun Kuwahara noted that the move aims to enhance investment capabilities by accelerating decision-making and will target investments in Layer1, Layer2 infrastructure, AI, gaming, and Web3 projects.
